Anthony (he/him/his) grew up in San Jose, California and graduated from UC Davis in 2020, majoring in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and minoring in Psychology. He worked in 3 labs and did a summer research internship at a biotech company during his undergrad. The first lab he worked in studied cow microbiology and investigated ways of decreasing methane emission from cows. The second lab he worked in studied histology/microscopy and investigated a new way of doing histology. The third lab he worked in studied neuroscience and investigated MHC I and its role in early development and synapse formation. He interned at a company called Surrozen, a company focused on regenerative medicine by utilizing the WNT pathway, during the summer. After graduation with a B.S. in biochemistry and molecular biology, he began to work as a research associate at PACT Pharma in the Tumor Immunology team.

When not in the lab, Anthony loves to cook, play video games, and binge watch Netflix. A fun fact about Anthony is that he is a professional yo-yo player and likes to bring a yo-yo around with him. His future goals are to attend graduate school, earn a Ph.D., and conduct translational research and work that can be beneficial to the scientific community and the public.
