James (he/him) attended UCLA for his undergraduate degree in Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics.
His first lab job was working on Toxoplasma gondii under Dr. Peter Bradley. During undergrad he characterized a panel of novel monoclonal antibodies that detect various organelles in Toxoplasma gondii.
When not in the lab, James can be found cycling or hiking through the SF hills.
