DEM at the UCSF-UCB immunology retreat

The DEM was well-represented at the first in-person joint UCSF-UC Berkeley Immunology retreat since 2019.  There were 19 of us attending, and there were podium presentations by Sara Suliman, Peter Hunt, and Tyler-Marie Deveau (for Tim Henrich). In addition, Gonzalo Acevedo, Ingrid Willers, Alex Mohapatra, Lily Zemelko, Mikias Ilala, and Justine Levan presented posters that attracted a lot of interest and discussion. Stirring music by Peter Hunt and his ensemble livened up the Saturday evening poster session and reception.  Besides the scientific discussions, there was ample time for walks on the Asilomar Beach, kayaking, hiking, soaking up sun, and making new friends.
